FLORAL HALL RULES

Pre-registration forms and tags will be available prior to the fair at the Lincoln County Extension Office. The phone number is 365-2447.

Each exhibitor will receive one exhibitor number, which they will use for all entries.

The management will use the utmost care in protecting exhibits, but will not be responsible if damage or loss occurs.

Due to safety concerns, no knives or firearms may be exhibited.

Register all exhibits (except those in Rule 6) for the Floral Hall on Monday, June 29 between 9 AM and 11:30 AM. No entries accepted after 11:30AM.

Register all flowers, floriculture, garden, fruit, field crop and horticulture exhibits on Wednesday, July 1 between 9 AM and 11:30 AM. No entries accepted after 11:30 AM.

Exhibits must be removed from the Floral Hall on Saturday, July 4 between 8 AM and 10 AM. No Friday check-out of exhibits will be allowed.

Articles left after 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 4 will become the property of the Lincoln County Fair Board.

Exhibits must fall into established classes in this catalog. Exhibitor is responsible for entering exhibits in correct classes. Entries must be clean.

Floral Hall exhibits are limited to one entry per class per person.

Classes in the Floral Hall are open to Lincoln County residents and members of Lincoln County Homemakers Clubs only.

Entries in 4-H and FFA classes must have been produced in conjunction with an approved project sponsored by those organizations. Entries in these classes are limited to Lincoln County youth.

When there is only one entry per class, a ribbon will be awarded according to its merit. Only blue ribbons are available for championships.

Prize money will be paid Thursday night through 10 AM Saturday. Awards in open classes are as follows: 1st-$3; 2nd-$2; 3rd-$1.

Ribbons for youth classes will be awarded on the Danish System. Ribbons for open classes will be awarded on standard basis of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Floral Hall exhibits must not have received ribbons at a previous fair. All food preservation exhibits must have been preserved since last year’s fair.

Each fair committee has the final judgment in any problems pertaining to its event.

The Lincoln County Fair is planned and conducted according to the Kentucky Department of Agriculture regulations for the use of state funds.

All exhibits must have been made or produced by person exhibiting.

A Grand Champion Exhibit rosette and $25.00 cash prize will be presented to the overall Floral Hall exhibit on Monday. All division champions will be judged and a grand champion exhibit will be selected.

A Grand Champion Exhibit rosette and $25 cash prize will be presented to the overall Floral Hall exhibit on Wednesday. All division champions will be judged and a grand champion exhibit will be selected.

A Grand Champion Exhibitor rosette and $25 cash prize will be presented to the exhibitor with the most ribbons in the Floral Hall.
